Making Stores Safer

As things continue to change, we’re doing everything we can to keep our people safe, our stores clean and expand our delivery offerings.

We're making stores safer.

As the world takes unprecedented measures to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the health of our customers, employees and Franchisees remains our top priority.

We’ve enhanced our standards and procedures for hygiene, hand-washing, sanitation, food handling and preparation in stores and have increased the frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces. We recommend all store associates wear masks and gloves when serving customers. Additionally, we provide sanitizing stations, gloves, bakery tissue and paper towels for customers when needed

We are taking enhanced steps inside and outside of 7-Eleven® stores to provide you with what you need in a safe and clean environment.

We’ve installed acrylic sneeze guards and visual floor markers at the front sales counters as reminders to practice social distancing in 7-Eleven stores. In order to be great community members together, we ask that you help us practice social distancing, follow our recommended purchasing limits and practice kindness and patience with our hardworking Franchisees and employees.

A convenient alternative to in-store shopping.

As we all practice social distancing and comply with stay-at-home orders across America, people are relying on delivery more than ever. We continue to provide delivery to over 60 million households through our proprietary 7NOW® delivery platform.

In an effort to make convenient delivery available to as many of you as possible, 7-Eleven has joined third-party national delivery providers DoorDash, Postmates, Instacart and Google Food Ordering. Texas customers also can use Favor Delivery.

Whether you’re in need of grocery staples like paper towels, milk and bread, over-the-counter medicine, craveable food and beverage options like pizza and a Slurpee® drink or beer and wine in participating markets, you can count on us to bring it to you.

Your safety remains our top priority. That is why each of these providers offers you the option to indicate if you prefer “contactless delivery,” meaning the delivery is left at your door. We continue to explore additional ways to deliver what you need, when and where you need it.

I am personally thankful for the 7-Eleven Franchisees, store associates and employees who are working tirelessly to stay open in the communities in which we operate. Through this hardship, Brand 7-Eleven is dedicated to providing customers with the products and services they need for us to get through this together.
