Many American kids get their first taste of independence when their parents let them ride their bikes to the neighborhood 7-Eleven store to get a Slurpee drink, ice cream bar or some other treat.
When one of Florida Franchisee Jennifer Vinson’s youngest customers had his bike stolen, she didn’t hesitate to do the right thing and replace his ride. “The heartbroken kid was so excited to get a cool new set of wheels,” said Franchise Specialist Joseph Goldberg, who nominated Jennifer for 7-Eleven Heroes recognition.
Replacing his old bike with a brand-new blue and lime green one really made his day. Jennifer thought of everything too, even a new bike lock!
Thanks, Jennifer, for being a positive role model in the community and doing the right thing to help turn one little boy’s frown upside down! You are a 7-Eleven Hero!
