Florida Franchisees Give Families a Happy Holiday

Ed and Lisa Pein play Santa in Fort Lauderdale, donate to multiple toy drives.

Thanks to Florida Franchise Owners Ed and Lisa Pein, Christmas 2020 was a little brighter for 110 families. With four 7-Eleven stores in the Fort Lauderdale area, the Peins wanted to do something this holiday season to help residents hit hard by COVID-19. The couple donated toys valued at almost $1,100 to a local non-profit organization.

Even better, the value of the toys donated by the Peins was matched dollar for dollar by the organizations, doubling the number of local families helped.

For Ed and Lisa, franchising with 7-Eleven is a family affair. Their kids, Ed Jr. and Julianna, help manage their four stores. The Peins have been 7-Eleven Franchisees for more than a decade.

“The Peins are great Franchisees on all fronts,” said Market Manager Melissa Ross. “They own and operate good stores, and they know how important it is to get involved in the communities they serve. Fort Lauderdale is a better place because of Franchisees like Ed and Lisa, who are customer-obsessed with their business and do the right thing for the communities they serve.”

Thank you to the entire Pein family for making this Christmas merry and bright for so many and for being true 7-Eleven Heroes!
